Basil is just so convenient to grow in a pot, so every kitchen can have it&#8217;s own splash of green!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4>Pesto with basil and kefir recipe<\/h4>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 garlic cloves<\/li>\n<li>handful of roasted almonds<\/li>\n<li>4 tablespoons of homemade kefir<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons of lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons of olive oil<\/li>\n<li>handful of fresh basil<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon of Himalayan sea salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a food processor or blender first blend almonds for about 10 seconds, then add other ingredients and blend all for about 15 seconds to break down the ingredients.<br \/>\nServe pesto with pasta or gnocchi.<\/p>\n<p>This time I choose gluten free penne to go with this pesto.
