Kombucha fermentation is a natural process in which symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast transforms sweetened tea into probiotic-rich drink. Bacteria and yeasts convert sugars into organic acids, probiotics, and natural carbonation, creating a flavorful beverage that supports gut health and overall well-being.

Smart Features of Kombucha fermenter
Aerobic fermentation without contamination
LID WITH FERMENTATION STATION
The eco-friendly bioplastic lid is the hero of safe aerobic fermentation. It allows oxygen flow while blocking contaminants. The integrated fermentation station gives you precise control over fermentation conditions, all in one place.
ACTIVE CARBON FILTER
The small opening enables just enough airflow for the kombucha to ferment properly. But don’t worry about the weird smells, thanks to the active carbon filter covering it. It keeps everything smelling sweet, without any yucky odours sneaking out.
Control during fermentation
Without temperature and time control, kombucha can turn too sour or ferment inconsistently, build in Fermentation Station for consistent results.
THERMOMETER
The kombucha ferments best when it's kept at room temperature. With the handy thermometer provided, you can easily maintain the perfect temperature.
LITRE & OUNCE MARKINGS
Measuring portions accurately
The 4-litre glass jar features clear markings on the back in both litres and ounces, making it easy to measure liquids accurately with every refill. Perfect for precise portions and consistent fermentation every time.
QUALITY GLASS JAR
Quality, non-reactive materials
The transparent glass jar allows easy monitoring of fermentation, won’t react with acidic kombucha, and is simple to clean. The sustainable bioplastic lid complements the jar with durability and eco-friendly design.
STAINLESS STEEL SPIGOT & WOODEN STAND
Continuous Brewing with Tap
The stainless steel spigot lets you pour kombucha directly from the fermenter, while the wooden stand ensures stability and easy access. Pour, refill, and let fermentation continue without interruption.
Prepare the best kombucha in the world. Choose your colour.
Live, organic kombucha starter is a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast that ferments sugar and tea into a refreshing, probiotic-rich, naturally fizzy kombucha. To make kombucha at home simply add it to sugar and tea and let it ferment.
You buy it once - it grows indefinitely.
A kombucha starter (liquid) is easier to store and transport with a longer shelf life, while a kombucha SCOBY ferments the first batch slightly faster.

“I already own and regularly use several Kefirko products. When I decided to start brewing kombucha and Jun, I was convinced by their stainless steel spigot to buy the 4L fermenter. Typical of Kefirko, all parts of their products are of very well thought out design and high quality. This was a key buying criteria for me when working with highly acidic liquids.
This is lab glass quality. The set up makes it a breeze to switch SCOBYs, fill and mix properly, and track the temperature and taste of the ferment as it proceeds through the days–all in one compact footprint. Top notch.”
