Fresh Water Kefir Grains

Ingredients:

Fresh water kefir grains from organic production.

BEFORE FIRST USE
  • Pour 600 ml water in Kefir fermenter.
  • Dissolve in it 30g quality sugar.
  • Strain kefir grains from the bottle and add them to the water.
  • Leave to ferment 1-2 days.
  • Discard water. Repeat the procedure until water ferments into kefir and grains are ready to use.

Ready to use:
Water kefir grains are ready to use when they turn sugar water into a slightly tangy, fizzy, and less-sweet drink and start producing bubbles.

Water Kefir Recipe:
  1. Activated water kefir grains
  2. 600 ml water (non-chlorinated)
  3. 30 g quality sugar

Dissolve sugar in water at room temperature. Put kefir grains in the Kefirko then add water. Leave the lid slightly open and let ferment at room temperature (22-25 °C) for 24-48 hours. After fermentation, strain the kefir, fill sealable bottles and store them in the fridge.

Water kefir is ready to be consumed. Water kefir grains will remain in the Kefirko jar to be used for the next batch.
