Who doesn’t love cheese?
Here are the basic supplies to make homemade kefir cheese as often as you wish.
This is a large version to produce 400-600g of cheese per batch.
Use fermenter to produce kefir which you can then strain directly into the Cheese maker.
We collected all the tools and ingredients, just add the milk of your choice and you’ll be on your way to a perfect creamy cheese!

Straining and separation of grains of homemade kefir

STRAINER LID
Strain thick kefir and separate grains easily
With integrated sieve designed for the size of grains. The sieve has two pouring areas, one with larger strainer slots and another with smaller ones.

SCRAPER
Designed to mix kefir grains during straining and aid separation. Covers the strainer lid opening and prevents clogging.

TWO-PIECE LID
Controlling air exposure
Can be fully closed or left open partially to enable airflow during fermentation. Blocks impurities (dust, insects) from entering the jar, even when left slightly open. Made from bioplastic.

The perfect density of the mesh ensures even straining of the cheese. With solid sidebars to easily shake out a perfectly shaped cheese. You can prepare 200-300g of cream cheese in the small basket (small jar) and 400-600g in the large basket (large jar).

How to make Cheese?

1.
Pour the kefir into the mesh basket the assembled product. Cover with the top lid.

2.
Put the Cheese maker in the fridge to slow down further fermentation. Leave it for the appropriate time to strain and get the desired thickness of the cheese.

3.
After initial straining you can use the pressing spring with a disc. This will strain even more liquid out of the cheese.
