The activation of dried Kefir grains went pretty well. And, the fermentation went pretty successfully. I enjoyed the homemade Kefir milk.

Happy it’s possible to get grains home in dried form. Have not jet started the process of activation, but I’m sure it will work great.

Unfortunately, it overfermented before the 24hr mark was reached during activation. For me, a beginner, it was then a bit hard to separate the curds from the small kefir grains that were starting to form. Still positive about the product though.

Dear Kevin, we can not precisely know, how much time grains need for activation or to make kefir it depends on so many factors – temperature, ingredients…
Have you tried our Kefir fermentor? Ich habe versucht seit zwei wochen täglich die Knollen mit frischem vollmilch (traditionell hergestellt – nicht länger haltbar) zu beleben aber hat sich nichts getan… bin enttäuscht 😢
